Currently most dragon's breeding times are equal to the hatch time. Previously, the breeding time was calculated as a total of the parents breeding time. The probability of getting a Pure has since (LaW update) been changed. Approximately 6:30, Septemin Tuesday, an official update in Dragon City's Facebook page showed that Rarity Boost raises the chances of getting a Rare, Legend or Pure Dragon is increased by 50%. Many of the dragons from the Deus Vault are now breedable, and are now classified as Breedable Exclusives. Sometime Mid-2013, the Deus Vault was removed from the Store.Due to the change in the status of the Pure, it and Pure Hybrids are now very easy to breed. The Pure Dragon is now an Elemental Dragon, and can be bought at the Store. As at 26-July-2013 (LaW update), the Breeding system has been changed.Gen(eration) classification of each dragon is a DCW-made device to assist players in the determination of the likelihood of breeding that dragon.The breeding system is similar to the one from pokémon games.Breeding in normal world gains some contribution points to Breeding Alliance Chest however, breeding in Ancient World does not contribute it.Table may be wider than the viewing area, scroll right.Letters after multiple element dragons represent the dragon's elements.Dragons available at levels 1 and 2 have a near 0% chance in a Sanctuary at level 7 or 8. To breed legend dragons both parents must have the pure element (Pure, Pure hybid, or legend).Currently level 20 exclusives require a legend dragon as one parent.Both parents must have the minimum level for level exclusives, unless one is a legend.Rare Hybrids require both parents be hybrids (double dragons are hybrids), unless one is a legend.The parents position (left/right in the Breeding System) does not matter.All child elements must be in at least one parent.Each parent must contribute at least one element to the child.
